The lifestyle characteristics in the countries with the healthiest citizens are not surprising. Try adopting some healthy living habits from the world’s healthiest countries. Many of the citizens in the healthiest countries consume fish and tofu rather than heavily processed meat and choose walking over any other forms of transportation.

The number one spot for healthy citizens is Iceland. Iceland’s women can expect to live to 83, and the men are not far behind with a life expectancy of 79. Japan comes in second with the life expectancy for women at 86 and at 79 for men. Sweden’s men live to 78, while the women can expect to live to 83. New Zealand’s healthy women can expect to live to 82 and the men to 78. Finland’s citizens also have high lfie expectancies. Finland’s men typically live to 78, and women live to 83.
